It would have to be Alphonse Mucha. What a man to have gone through so much, and fought so much for his country. His paintings are inspiring to me as the depict the idylic view of a woman in the eyes of a godess. Possesing the beauty of nature at hand, his illustrative techniques created art nouveue (sp?) the most modern wave of art. I love his works and his life deeply.
